Saint Timothy on the Northshore United Methodist Church was located at 335 Asbury Drive, Mandeville, Louisiana.

Rev. Don McDowell was appointed in 1975 to start a new church on the North Shore. The first service was held on July 13. Saint Timothy on the North Shore was chartered on September 21, 1975, with 101 charter members. For those early years, services were conducted in a warehouse on Industry Lane. The first building to be constructed at the present location was the Fellowship Hall. Services began in the Fellowship Hall on Easter Sunday, April 15, 1979. An educational building was added in November 1982. On May 14, 1989, services began in the newly completed sanctuary. The church received its first associate pastor (Rev. Martha Pleasant) in June 1992. Five years later, on October 8, 1994, the Activities building was completed. The congregation is still enjoying membership growth, and an expansion program to enlarge the sanctuary, increase Sunday school space, and add parking space is underway.

In 2006, Church of the Servant United Methodist Church (Mandeville, La.) merged with Saint Timothy on the North Shore. Church of the Servant began when Rev. Barry E. Hughes was appointed to start a new congregation in Mandeville in June 1994. After a series of ads and personal invitations, seven families came together to meet on Sunday evenings for Bible study and prayer. A warehouse and adjoining offices were rented to be used as a chapel, nursery, and Sunday school rooms. With the help of nearby churches, a phone campaign was conducted to find others who were not involved with a church. With a $5,000 loan from the United Methodist Foundation, the December rent was paid, and carpeting and folding chairs were purchased. The doors of the new church opened on December 4, 1994. The congregation has since grown to over 100 families and 2 worship services. This congregation also helped with the founding of the North Shore Jewish Congregation. From the very beginning. Church of the Servant has sent its tithes to mission and service projects. A former medical complex was purchased along Florida Street at the close of the 20th century. While there was plenty of classroom space, a metal building sanctuary was built in which to hold services. Long term plans include the construction of a new sanctuary.

Saint Timothy on the Northshore United Methodist Church disaffiliated from the United Methodist Church in November 2022.
