Biographical / Historical

Beulah United Methodist Church (Marthaville, La.) traces its origins to 1860. Located on Louisiana Highway 487 approximately five miles north of Marthaville, the congregation constructed its first building on land donated in 1861. In the early 1900s, this structure was replaced with a larger building, which ultimately burned in 1924. This was replaced with a third church building. The Beulah United Methodist Church disaffiliated from the United Methodist Church in 2022.
