Biographical / Historical

Clear Creek United Methodist Church (Clinton, La.) traces its origins to the late 1870s. During the congregation's early years, services were held in an old school house. The building later burned down in 1883. Services were then held in an abandoned gin. In 1885 a new building was built. The church was located at 17336 Louisiana Highway 432, Clinton, Louisiana. In 1932 the church was added to the Clinton Charge. Clear Creek United Methodist Church disaffiliated from the United Methodist Church in 2022.
