Biographical / Historical
Crew Lake United Methodist Church (Start, La.) was founded in 1918 to replace joint church services held by the community’s Methodists and Baptists. The congregation constructed a church building circa 1925. This was replaced by a new structure in 1965 located at 2830 Magnolia Drive, Start, Louisiana. Crew Lake United Methodist Church disaffiliated from the United Methodist Church in 2022.
