Biographical / Historical

Clayton United Methodist Church (Clayton, La.) was founded in 1937. They shared a church building with a Baptist congregation until 1954. At that time, the Methodist congregation acquired property at 8830 Louisiana Highway 566 and moved the building. In 2007, the Louisiana Conference of the United Methodist Church formally declared Clayton United Methodist Church discontinued and abandoned.
