Biographical / Historical
McIntyre United Methodist Church (McIntyre, La.) traces its origins to Bethel Methodist Episcopal Church South, who constructed a church on Old Bellevue Road in 1919. In 1937, the congregation moved the church to the nearby community of McIntyre. In 1992, the Louisiana Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church formally declared McIntyre United Methodist Church discontinued.
