Scrapbook, 1928 - 1932
Scope and Contents
The Earl Davis Nolan, Sr. scrapbook primarily documents athletics at Centenary College of Louisiana, where Nolan was enrolled from fall 1928 to spring 1932. He played on the college’s football and basketball teams; his nickname was “Little Boy Blue.” The scrapbook contains newspaper clippings, telegrams, and a football season pass (1930). The final pages contain clippings about his wife, Margaret Nolan, and her Centenary activities related to May Fete (1930) and a theater performance (1932). The scrapbook is a photocopy facsimile.
