Biography

Pioneer United Methodist Church (Pioneer, La.) was first organized in 1912 where it was on a circuit with three other churches. In 1965, a new church was built on land to the east of the original structure. This new building was located at 111 Ash Street (Pioneer, La.). Over the years, Pioneer shared a circuit with the following nearby churches: Campbell’s Chapel, Epps, Floyd, Forest, Midway, Kilbourne, and Oak Grove. Pioneer United Methodist Church closed in 2019.
