Harrell medal, founded by Prof. George L. Harrell, is a handsome prize offered to the ministerial student, who shall excel in hymn and Scripture reading. The contest occurs during the Commencement exercises and the medal is awarded on the basis of force in expression, distinctness of speech, and self-composure.”
