Biographical / Historical

John Thomas Heath (1832-1862) graduated from Centenary College of Louisiana in 1850. He subsequently worked as a lawyer in Jackson, Louisiana. Heath served on Centenary’s examining committee from approximately 1853 to 1855. By 1858, he worked as a lawyer in Shreveport, Louisiana. Heath was married to Harriet Letitia Perkins Heath (1831-1923).
