Scope and Contents From the Collection: This collection consists of a scrapbook primarily containing newspaper article clippings (1898-1913) documenting the pastoral activities of Rev. Martin Hebert in south Louisiana among French-speaking communities. Hebert wrote some of the articles, which originally appeared in the New Orleans Christian Advocate, a weekly newspaper published by the Methodist Episcopal Church South.
