Biographical / Historical
William G. Phelps served as professor at Centenary College of Louisiana from 1923 to 1949. He taught Greek, Latin, German, Classical Literature, History, and Philosophy. Phelps is the author of The Glory That Was Greece and Other Sketches (Shreveport, LA: Published by Rev. James Lolakas, 1937), Lessing, the Champion of Universal Brotherhood (Shreveport, LA: Centenary College, 1939), Two Roman Papers (Shreveport, LA: Centenary College of Louisiana, 1939).
