Biographical / Historical
The McCormick Memorial Tubercular Sanatorium opened in April 1929 within the buildings previously used as Centenary College of Louisiana (Jackson, La.). The sanatorium treated patients with tuberculosis. W. B. McCormick of Shreveport, Louisiana, served as president of the organization. Dr. Avery C. Wilkins served as physician in charge.
