This collection consists of scrapbooks containing membership rosters, photographs, clippings, programs, and correspondence related to activities of Maroon Jackets from 1931 to 1996. The photographs include group shots of members, pictures of Maroon Jackets at different events, and photographs highlighting individual members for their accomplishments. The clippings originally appeared in Centenary publications (student newspapers, yearbooks, and alumni magazines) as well as local newspapers. These clippings often highlight Maroon Jackets’ group activities or the accomplishments of individual members. The programs are from events involving Maroon Jackets participation, such as luncheons, reunions, honors convocations, graduations, and homecomings. The correspondence includes thank you notes to the Maroon Jackets for their service from their advisors as well as local individuals and businesses.

Scrapbook 1944-1951 contains many candid photos of the Maroon Jackets at their annual spring party at the home of Ray Williams on Cross Lake. Scrapbook “Yesterday and Today” 1947-1983 features photographs and publications from the organization’s fiftieth anniversary reunion, which took place in 1981.
