This collection primarily documents the activities of Sweetlake United Methodist Church (Bell City, La.). Series 1 consists of the congregation’s membership records, charge conference records, audit records, administrative records, committee records, church directories, and church histories.

Series 2 consists of the Reverend James Moore collection of Sweetlake, Wakefield, Grand Chenier Charge records. From approximately 2007-2015, Moore served as pastor of this charge consisting of Sweetlake UMC (Bell City, La.), Wakefield UMC (Cameron, La.), and Grand Chenier UMC (Grand Chenier, La.). Material from these three congregations includes audit records, charge conference records, and committee records.
