The title page contains the faint writing “Greenwood Church, Mooringsport, La.,” and the following sections appear to correspond with Greenwood Methodist Episcopal Church South (Greenwood, La.): pastors (1878-1901), deaths and disposals (1882-1895), and baptisms (1883-1896). Text written inside the front page states, “Brother [Henry Jefferson] Boltz, Please deliver this book to Bro. J. E. Holmes at Belle Bower. R. A. H.”
