Biography
Della Upton Law (1892-1990) is the daughter of Centenary College of Louisiana professor Levi Lafayette Upton (1853-1935). The Upton family lived in the college’s East Wing building from approximately 1900 to 1905. In 1916, Law graduated from Louisiana State Normal School (Natchitoches, La.). She later worked in the Louisiana public school system.

Scope and Contents
Collection contains two letters written by Della Upton Law. A letter dated 1953 describes the library and Centre Building at Centenary College of Louisiana (Jackson, La.) circa 1900. A letter from 1971 contains the words to the “Centenary College Yell.”
