Biography

Caddo Heights United Methodist Church (Shreveport, La.) originated in March 1943, and the congregation dedicated a building in October 1943. In 1952, the church replaced this structure with a new building at the same location, 4105 Linwood Avenue. The church added an educational building in 1959 and a Fellowship Hall Annex in 1985. In 2004, the Louisiana Conference of the United Methodist Church formally declared Caddo Heights discontinued and abandoned. In 2006, Fairfield United Methodist Church (Shreveport, La.) relocated to the former Caddo Heights facility.
