Biography
Saint Paul United Methodist Church (Alexandria, La.) was established in 1961. In 1963, the congregation constructed a church building at 712 Avoyelles Drive. It appears the church closed in 1970 when the Louisiana Conference of the United Methodist Church dropped Saint Paul from the Wesley-Saint Paul charge. In 1970, the Saint Mark United Methodist Church (Magda, La.) relocated approximately sixteen miles north to the former Saint Paul property.
