Biography
Centenary State Historic Site (Jackson, La.), originally dedicated in 1977 as the Centenary State Commemorative Area, is operated by the Louisiana Office of State Parks. It served as the former campus of the College of Louisiana from 1825 to 1845 and Centenary College of Louisiana from 1845 to 1906.

Collection consists of material documenting Centenary College of Louisiana (Jackson, La.) and its successor, the Centenary State Historic Site. Scope and Contents
Collection consists of facsimile photographs depicting Centenary College of Louisiana (Jackson, La). The images primarily depict Centenary’s buildings – the Centre Building, dormitories, and professor’s home. Also included is a photograph of students on campus (circa 1890). The photographs are scanned printouts from originals and reproductions collected and held by James L. Hendrickson.
