Biographical / Historical
Alco Methodist Church (Alco, La.) was part of a new circuit formed in 1923 with congregations located in the nearby communities of Peason and Kurthwood. The Louisiana Conference of the Methodist Church conference journal published in 1942 appears to contain the last reference to a minister being appointed to serve the Alco congregation.
