Biographical / Historical

Basile United Methodist Church (Basile, La.) traces its history to 1914. In 1920, the church building was constructed on North Lewis Avenue. The church built and operated Evangeline Preparatory College from 1920 to 1925, when the school burned down. The church was discontinued in 2010.
