Biographical / Historical

Sarah Baker Austin Joyner (1876-1968) lived in Jackson, Louisiana, from her birth until 1897. She is the granddaughter of Centenary College of Louisiana professor A. R. Holcombe (d. 1879). In 1897, she married Rev. Nicolas E. Joyner (1871-1959).
